Question: Is Villa La Estancia a Time Share?
Answer: No, Villa La Estancia is not a Time Share Resort, rather a full ownership property. VLE is part of the Villa Group, which includes other resorts on either side; Villa del Arco and Villa del Palmar are Time Share properties.

Question: Where is Villa La Estancia located?
Answer: Villa La Estancia is located on Medano Beach, which is the only swimmable beach in Cabo San Lucas. VLE is only a mile from downtown Cabo San Lucas which you can walk to by road and beach. Also, you can take a water taxi or a regular taxi.

Question: Are there restaurants at Villa La Estancia?
Answer: Yes, you have quite a few restaurants to choose from within the Villa Group. At VLE, La Parilla is a poolside restaurant and is open for lunch. You can also order off the La Parilla menu pool side or at the beach. The waiters are more than happy to bring your drink and lunch to your lounge chair. La Casona is an upscale restaurant with daily brunch and dinner service. Another option is Room Service or you can also hire your own private chef to prepare foods in the privacy of your own villa.

In addition there are two restaurants at Villa del Palmar and three at Villa Del Arco, where you will have full signing privileges. Also, there is a deli located in the mini-mall offering great sandwiches, salads, desserts and some hot prepared foods. Specialty coffee drinks and juices are available too. Right next door to the deli is a great ice cream stand. There are many wonderful restaurants along the beach or in downtown Cabo. See the Cabo San Lucas Restaurants link.

Question: Can we use the facilities at Villa del Palmar and Villa Del Arco?
Answer: Yes, Villa La Estancia guests are allowed to use some of the facilities at both neighboring properties including the pools, restaurants, kid’s in paradise program, the Spa and Fitness Center, and any of the resort activities.

Question: With a private rental, will I have the same privileges the owner has?
Answer: Yes. You will be a guest of the owner of the Villa and may use all of the facilities. A small charge may be added for lights at the tennis courts. The fitness center at Villa La Estancia is free. There is a charge for the fitness center at the Desert Spa at Villa Del Arco and of course for Spa Services. You will receive a 15% discount at the Desert Spa, which recently opened.

Question: Are there any additional charges I should be prepared for in addition to the ones listed above?
Answer: There is no charge for the high-speed internet (in the villa) or the WiFi in the pool area. Additional charges include food, beverages, spa services, telephone calls, additional linens, special activities or services you schedule.

Question: Is there an All-Inclusive Option?
Answer: Yes, please go to the Link under Resort Amenities. The charge is $83.00 per person and $42.00 for children. Guests must sign up at the time of check in and for a minimum be 3 consecutive days. Children are 50% off.

Question: Do I need to rent a car?
Answer: No. Most everything you will want to do is within walking distance or a short taxi ride. The taxi fare to Cabo San Lucas is $7.00/one way for 4 people. It will be a little bit more for additional passengers. If you would like to rent a car and take a drive to other towns such as Todos Santos or San Jose, a car rental company is located in the lobby at Villa La Estancia. VLE has underground parking.

Question: How do I get from the airport to Villa La Estancia?
Answer: The airport is located in San Jose del Cabo (SJD). It is about a 30-45 minute drive to Villa La Estancia. We can either pre-arrange a clean white Suburban to pick you up through a company we use called TransPacifico or you can make your own arrangements. They will be waiting for you after you come out from customs holding a sign with your name. They will also have cold drinks ready for you. Please contact us for other options.

Question: Is there a Concierge Service?
Answer: Yes, there is a Concierge located in the lobby and also around the pool and beach. They are there to assist you in making restaurant reservations and any excursion you would like to experience.

Question: Is there a Spa and/or Fitness Center?
Answer: There is a beautiful brand new European Spa located directly next door to Villa La Estancia called Desert Spa. Please click on the Link under Resort Amenities for all the details. There is a fitness center at Villa La Estancia that is no charge to you. There is a small fee to use the fitness center at Desert Spa. Also, there is another Spa located at Villa del Palmar on the other side of Villa La Estancia.

Question: Are there tennis courts?
Answer: Yes there are two private courts at Villa La Estancia located on the top of the Palmitta Market Place. In addition, there are two courts at Villa del Palmar. Lighting is available at a small charge. Sign up for drills with the pro.

Question: Is there a children’s program? Babysitting?
Answer: Yes, located at Villa del Palmar. They provide activities throughout the day for children ages 4-12. Contact the front desk or the Concierge for baby sitting.
