Robin, Jane, and Donna are mutual friends from Illinois that have worked together in various capacities. Robin was the first to own in 2006 at Villa La Estancia in Cabo San Lucas. Jane became an owner soon after when she visited Robin at Villa La Estancia in Cabo and sat on the terrace, sipping a margarita and gazing out on Medano Beach and the Sea of Cortez. She immediately fell in love with the Cabo location, the villa, and the resort and transferred that passion into a purchase at Villa La Estancia. Donna, a recent visitor to Villa La Estancia, joined her friends on a journey to spread the word about Villa La Estancia and the Cabo San Lucas area to other friends and travelers.
